British heavy metal newcomers TAILGUNNER return with “Tears In Rain,” the second single from their upcoming album Midnight Blitz, out February 6, 2026 via Napalm Records. Inspired by the iconic final monologue from Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, the track channels cinematic reflection into a towering heavy metal anthem built for late nights and loud voices.

“Tears In Rain” highlights frontman Craig Cairns’ vocal range and the band’s knack for crafting expansive, instantly memorable choruses without losing their edge. While the reference point is unmistakable, the song avoids nostalgia for its own sake, instead translating the film’s mood into a modern heavy metal framework.

The single continues the momentum toward Midnight Blitz, TAILGUNNER’s second full-length album, produced by K.K. Downing (Judas Priest). Drawing from classic British Heavy Metal while firmly rooted in the present, the record promises ten tracks of sharp riffs, soaring melodies and road-tested confidence.

With extensive touring planned throughout 2026 — including dates with HammerFall, festival appearances across Europe, and support slots on Fozzy’s “Eyes On You” tour — TAILGUNNER are positioning themselves as one of the UK’s most promising new heavy metal acts.
