Dutch gothic metal band Blackbriar have shared that bassist Siebe Sol Sijpkens has decided to step away from the band.

In a statement posted on their social media channels, the band reflected on the years spent together, citing long tours, shared milestones and formative experiences that shaped both their music and their lives. While the decision came unexpectedly, Blackbriar expressed gratitude for the journey they shared and wished Sijpkens the best in his future endeavors.

The band also noted they are taking time to process the change, thanking fans for their continued support and assuring them that the next chapter will follow soon.
