German folk metal institution Subway to Sally are turning inward after closing the year with the thunderous Eisheilige Nacht tour. On March 27, 2026, the band will launch the third chapter of their intimate concert series, NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden, in Berlin — and they are setting the tone with a newly reimagined version of their cult song “Feuerkind.”
Stripped down to its emotional core, the new version of “Feuerkind” is quieter, more fragile, and hauntingly intense. The accompanying video captures the essence of the NACKT concept: closeness and tension, restraint and eruption, where acoustic arrangements meet raw emotion and visual intimacy.

Originally released on Nord Nord Ost in 2005 — which reached No. 5 on the German album charts — “Feuerkind” remains one of the band’s most powerful and emotional compositions. Its reinterpretation serves both as a reflection on the band’s long history and a signpost toward what lies ahead.
First introduced in 2006, the NACKT concerts offered fans a radically different live experience, so successful that the format returned in 2010. Now, with NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden, Subway to Sally revisit this concept once more, promising evenings that move between poetry and performance, melancholy and excess — closer to a living room than a festival stage. With several dates already sold out, the return of NACKT confirms that even after more than three decades, Subway to Sally continue to evolve without shedding their skin.
