Finnish gothic metal supergroup For My Pain… have released their long-awaited comeback album “Buried Blue,”marking the band’s first full-length release since their early-2000s era. The album arrives alongside the announcement of a release tour, kicking off on January 14 at Tavastia in Helsinki.

Rather than rushing the process, Buried Blue” was crafted patiently — even as the band rebuilt from the ground up. Vocalist Juha Kylmänen describes a period that saw the group resurrect the band, build a studio, and establish a company and record label alongside recording the album. Despite the intensity behind the scenes, the creative process itself felt natural and rewarding, driven by strong chemistry and shared joy in making music together.

The album was preceded by several singles, includingRecoil Into Darkness,” “WitchBitch Elite,” “Time Will Heal Our Wounds,” and “Windows Are Weeping,” featuring Troy Donockley of Nightwish. The opening track “Hungry For Desire” now stands as the album’s lead single, evoking memories of the band’s early recording sessions through its collaborative, organic guitar work.
