Finnish industrial metal powerhouse Fear of Domination have released their new album “Katharsis,” out now and accompanied by a music video for the opening track “Alone.”
Spanning ten uncompromising tracks, “Katharsis” presents a band reborn — one that pushed itself artistically while navigating unexpected challenges throughout the process. Frontman Saku Solin describes the album as the culmination of the band’s evolution and personal reinvention, forged through adversity and belief.
Several songs on the record had been waiting years to find their final form, while “Katharsis” also marks the first full album created with current members Anton and Jessica. Previously released singles “All As One” and “Endgame” paved the way, with the latter accompanied by a stark, visually striking video. The focus track “Alone” now opens the album, its music video directed and filmed by Elsa Wellamo, capturing both vulnerability and cold intensity.
With “Katharsis“, Fear of Domination emerge sharpened and resolute — turning struggle into fuel and delivering one of their most personal and forceful statements to date.
