Finnish modern metal act Rioghan push their evolving “Frozen” EP narrative forward with the release of “Chapter III: Teardrop.” The new single turns up the intensity, revealing the heavier side of the EP while retaining Rioghan’s dark pop sensibility and emotionally charged melodies.

Where “Chapter II: Moment” captured the instant of realization that change is needed, “Chapter III: Teardrop”explores what comes next: the thaw. Emotions begin to flow again, cautiously opening toward warmth, light, and the possibility of love. It’s a pivotal moment in the EP’s arc—hesitant, powerful, and deeply human.

The Frozen” EP, set for release on April 10, has unfolded chapter by chapter since autumn, beginning with “Chapter I: Frozen,” a reimagining of Madonna’s classic, and continuing with “Moment.” All tracks are accompanied by visually striking music videos created in collaboration with Aarni Visuals, with the “Chapter III: Teardrop” video premiering on Rioghan’s YouTube channel on January 28 at 18:00.

Riding strong momentum after the success of their album Kept”—which debuted at No. 6 on Finland’s physical album chart—Rioghan will take the new material to the stage this spring alongside I Am Your God, followed by a summer appearance at Tampere’s Ankea Festival.

With Frozen”, Rioghan continue to blur the lines between modern metal, dark pop, and progressive storytelling—inviting listeners into a slow, deliberate awakening.
