The anniversary edition of Nummirock continues to grow heavier, broader, and more deliberate. With new additions announced this week, the legendary midsummer gathering at Nummijärvi further cements its reputation as one of Finland’s most uncompromising metal festivals.
Among the newly confirmed names are Stam1na, returning with momentum ahead of a highly anticipated album, and Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus, a perennial favorite whose presence feels almost inseparable from Finnish festival summers. Also joining are death metal veterans Grave and Chilean extreme metal act Decessus, fronted by Miss World Chile Ignacia Fernández.
One of the most anticipated moments of the weekend will be Battle Beast’s first Finnish show with their new lineup, featuring vocalist Marina La Torraca. The newly announced wave is rounded out by …And Oceans, guiding listeners into the more escapist corners of symphonic black metal.
These additions join an already formidable bill that includes Gaerea, Hanging Garden, Norwegian black metal institution Satyricon, and crossover force Rise of the Northstar. International acts UADA and Immortal Disfigurementwill also appear—each playing their only Finnish show of the summer at Nummirock.
The domestic anniversary roster is equally strong, featuring Omnium Gatherum, Moonsorrow, Swallow the Sun, Kaunis Kuolematon, Ruoska, Nyrkkitappelu, Stoned Statues, and rising extreme metal name Kneel Before the Death.
Four-day festival passes (including camping) are now on sale, alongside premium tickets offering VIP facilities and meet & greet opportunities. Tickets are available via Lippu.fi and Tiketti.
As the lineup takes shape, one thing is clear: Nummirock’s anniversary is not about nostalgia alone. It’s about continuity: past, present, and future colliding under the same midsummer sky.
