Helsinki-based rising rock outfit Falling Pyramids have released their new single “Zeros and Ones,” marking the first release from the band’s renewed lineup.

Produced by Amorphis drummer Jan Rechberger and recorded at Helsinki’s Moon Unit studio, the track draws heavily from Finland’s rich history of heavy music, combining weighty riffs, groove, and melancholy with a distinctly modern edge.

“‘Zeros and Ones’ is a heavy and melodic statement about the contradictions of the modern world. The lyrics examine how digital identity affects our sense of self and the nostalgic longing for a time before the constant flood of information,” the band explains.

Formed in 2024 through friendship and a shared love of heavy rock, Falling Pyramids channel elements of ’80s and ’90s rock through a contemporary lens. Despite being relatively new to the scene, the quartet have already begun building a name for themselves in Helsinki’s underground through their energetic live performances.
