Croatian metal outfit Manntra have joined forces with Fabienne Erni of Eluveitie and Illumishade for their new single “Wild Hunt,” the title track from their upcoming self-titled studio album.

Accompanied by an elaborate music video filmed in wintry forests, “Wild Hunt” brings ancient mythology to life through a striking combination of real horses, blazing fires and mystical imagery. Erni also appears in the video, adding another dimension to the song’s dramatic atmosphere.

Musically, the track combines Manntra’s characteristic heavy riffs and powerful melodies with the contrasting vocals of frontman Marko Matijević Sekul and Erni, creating a dynamic blend of darkness and grandeur.

Inspired by the European legend of the Wild Hunt, the song explores supernatural riders travelling through storms and darkness. However, beneath its mythological imagery lies a deeply human message about confronting fear, reclaiming one’s identity and finding the courage to begin again.

Speaking about the collaboration, Manntra explain:

“Fabienne Erni brought incredible energy to ‘Wild Hunt’. Her voice and Marko’s complement each other perfectly, creating a powerful dynamic that takes the song to another level. The result is something dark, epic, and truly special.”

The band also highlight the mythology behind the track:

“The legend of the Wild Hunt has everything we love: ancient spirits, supernatural forces, storm and darkness. We wanted to capture that untamed energy and turn it into a story about redemption, courage, and the chance to start again.”
