Finnish black and dark metal veterans Mirzadeh have returned with an unexpected release: a black metal reinterpretation of the 80s classic “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul,” originally made famous by Modern Talking. The cover arrives alongside a new music video, filmed by photographer Virve Hernesniemi.

The release marks a new chapter for the long-running band, who are currently working on fresh material following several lineup changes. Mirzadeh now feature keyboardist Descrato (Star Insight, Arina), with Asagor (Boneset) contributing as session guitarist.

Founded in 2000, Mirzadeh have built their sound around dark atmospheres and themes drawn from Finnish mythology, blending black metal with lyrics in both Finnish and English. Over more than two decades, the band have released three full-length albums alongside numerous EPs, singles, and demos.

The new single stands as a stark collision of eras — familiar melody, transformed through shadow and distortion — while hinting at what lies ahead in Mirzadeh’s next creative phase.
