On Tuesday, February 10, Cliff Burton’s legacy returns home. Cliff Burton Day 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the Damage Inc. tour with an evening of stories, music, and remembrance at the Chabot Theater in Burton’s hometown of Castro Valley, California.

Hosted by Baby Huey, the night brings together members of the Damage Inc. road crew—Eddie Kercher, Big Mick, Bobby Schneider, John Marshall, Howard Ungerleider, Andy Battye, and Aiden Mullen, alongside special guests Mike Bordin and Bryan Kehoe. Together, they’ll share personal memories from a pivotal moment in metal history.

Live performances will punctuate the evening, with sets from Humma Kavula, Cataclysmic, and Harold O, among others, turning the celebration into a true birthday bash.
