Finnish melodic death/black metal band Se, Josta Ei Puhuta have announced their fourth studio album, ‘Syvyyden portit on saatava auki’, set for release on May 29, 2026 via Inverse Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have unveiled the album’s first single ‘Kuolemaa ei ole‘, accompanied by a music video released today.
The track unfolds as a meditation on rebirth and transformation, where death is reframed not as an ending but as passage. Shifting dynamics and interwoven guitar harmonies create an atmosphere that is tense yet unexpectedly warm: music that feels as if it’s stirring something long dormant beneath the surface.
According to the band, ‘Kuolemaa ei ole‘ functions as both a beginning and a reminder of continuity. Resurrection here does not arrive through light, but through darkness: by shedding the old self and stepping into another form. As the first chapter of the new album, the song sets the tone for a work concerned with movement, cycles, and the quiet eternity that lies beyond language.
With this release, Se, Josta Ei Puhuta once again blur the line between ritual and song: opening the gates not toward closure, but toward continuation.
