Latvian pagan black metal veterans Skyforger kicked off the “Rites of the Blood Moon” European tour this Wednesday, February 11. Joining them on the road are Sweden’s Ereb Altor, Germany’s Wolfchant, and France’s Belore—a lineup steeped in myth, history, and northern spirit.
The tour arrives as Skyforger celebrate their 30th anniversary, marking three decades of channeling Baltic history and folklore through thunderous riffs and uncompromising conviction.
Alongside the live campaign, the band have unveiled a music video for “Vecie latvieši” from their latest album “Teikas”. Translating to “Old Time Latvians,” the track reflects on historical figures and events that have preserved the Latvian spirit through centuries of upheaval.
As Skyforger take the stage across Europe, the message remains clear: heritage is not a relic—it is something carried forward, loud and unbroken.
