Helsinki’s rising deathcore force Enemies Everywhere returns with Atonement, a track that cuts deep—both sonically and thematically. Following the attention drawn by their 2024 debut EP Endless Discord, the band doubles down on what they do best: raw, uncompromising heaviness wrapped in a dark, immersive atmosphere.

Atonement is not merely aggressive—it carries weight. Drawing inspiration from the theological concept of atonement, the band reshapes it into something far more personal: a struggle against addiction and depression, where redemption feels distant, yet not entirely lost. As they put it, even in the darkest moments, there remains a fragile thread of hope—“through the pain I will still rise.”

Musically, the track stays true to their identity. Crushing riffs collide with tight, groove-driven sections, while the vocals move through the full spectrum of extreme expression with precision. It’s controlled chaos—deliberate, honed, and increasingly confident.

Behind the scenes, the band has spent the past year and a half refining not only new material for their upcoming debut album, due later this year, but also their live presence. And that’s where this story truly comes alive.

Before taking their sound beyond Finland, Enemies Everywhere will hit the stage at On The Rocks this Saturday, setting the tone for what lies ahead—a run through the Baltics and Poland under The Spring of Vengeance banner.
