One of extreme metal’s longest-running and most infamous touring institutions is returning to Finland. Napalm Death will bring their legendary Campaign for Musical Destruction tour across the country this November, continuing a tradition that has shaped the grindcore and death metal underground since the late 1980s.

Over the decades, the tour has become synonymous with uncompromising heaviness, chaos, and genre-defining performances — and the 2026 edition looks no different.

The Finnish run begins on November 13 at Korjaamo in Helsinki before moving to Lutakko on November 14 and concluding at Olympia on November 15.

Joining the tour are several heavyweight names from the extreme metal underground. American death metal veterans Master — founded by Paul Speckmann in 1983 — will appear alongside New Orleans deathgrind/hardcore force BRAT. Finnish support comes from Goatburner, featuring Rotten Sound vocalist Keijo Niinimaa and Jaakko Forsman.

Founded in Birmingham in 1981, Napalm Death remain one of the most influential extreme metal acts of all time. From pioneering grindcore to landing in the Guinness World Records for the shortest song ever recorded, the band has consistently pushed heaviness into new territory. Earlier this year, they released the collaborative album Savage Imperial Death March with Melvins, while their latest standalone release remains 2022’s Resentment is Always Seismic – a final throw of Throes.

With Mark “Barney” Greenway, Shane Embury, Mitch Harris and Danny Herrera still carrying the torch, the band’s live reputation remains as fierce as ever — and Finland is once again preparing for total sonic devastation.
