Modern metal newcomers A Cold Paradise have unveiled their latest single, “Are You Holding Me Back?”, accompanied by an official music video. The track offers another preview of the band’s self-titled debut album, set for release on August 28 via PERCEPTION – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.

Blending crushing heaviness with soaring melodies and emotional intensity, the new single explores the difficult moment when love and pain become impossible to separate. Speaking about the song, vocalist Antonio Calanna explained:

“Some prisons don’t have walls. Sometimes they are built from memories, promises, and feelings we are afraid to let go of… More than anything, it is a song about courage; the courage to ask difficult questions and face uncomfortable truths.“
