Berlin metalcore outfit 4 Oceans have returned with their new single, “Lies in Your Eyes,” marking the band’s first release following a creative hiatus and a revamped lineup. The track arrives alongside an official music video.

Formed in 2020 as an independent DIY project, 4 Oceans have established themselves with a sound that blends crushing riffs, melodic hooks, and modern production, while tackling themes such as mental health, personal struggles, and human relationships. Since the release of their self-produced debut EP First Wave, the band have collaborated with artists including Dominik of Cypecore, Egor Erushin, and Lead Horizon, performed across Germany and Italy, and surpassed 160,000 Spotify streams.

Inspired by the emotional aftermath of a painful breakup, “Lies in Your Eyes” explores the difficult process of letting go and moving forward. Musically, the song combines soaring melodies, heavy breakdowns, and an atmospheric electronic section influenced by techno, further expanding the band’s modern metalcore sound.
