Italian progressive metal act GanEden have unveiled the lyric video for “Eva,” a track taken from their concept album Gan Eden.

Musically intricate and emotionally charged, “Eva” revisits humanity’s first exile through the perspective of Eve, challenging the traditional image of her as the source of humanity’s fall. Instead, the song presents rebellion, curiosity, and the pursuit of knowledge as acts of awareness and self-determination.

The track forms part of Gan Eden‘s wider reimagining of the Genesis story, in which Adam and Eve are portrayed as genetic experiments created by a higher intelligence before being exiled to Earth.

Through atmospheric progressive metal and a science-fiction-inspired narrative, the album explores humanity’s darker instincts while questioning familiar ideas of creation, guilt, freedom, and what it means to become human.
