German symphonic metal icons XANDRIA have unveiled “Eclipse,” the title track and final single from their new album, Eclipse, arriving this Friday.

Heavy guitars collide with dramatic orchestration as the track showcases the remarkable versatility of vocalist Ambre Vourvahis, who moves effortlessly between intimate melodies, powerful rock vocals, soaring operatic passages, and intense growls.

Beyond its musical intensity, “Eclipse” carries a defiant message. Band mastermind Marco Heubaum explains:

“The sun represents the light of civilisation, while the moon slowly moves in front of it and leaves the world in darkness. Musically, the song turns this image into an epic battle. But an eclipse does not last forever. The song is about refusing to accept the darkness as the new normal.”

Following a recent appearance on Germany’s ZDF-Fernsehgarten, XANDRIA will celebrate the album’s release with a main-stage performance at M’era Luna Festival this Saturday, before heading out on an extensive European tour beginning in September.
