Italian power metal force Frozen Crown have unveiled their new single “Who Wants to Burn in Heaven,” offering another glimpse into their upcoming album, The Legend of the Six Kings, set for release on October 2, 2026 via Napalm Records.

Built around a grooving heavy metal riff, powerful choirs and epic melodies, the track introduces a noticeably darker edge to Frozen Crown’s sound. Vocalists Giada “Jade” Etro and Federico Mondelli share the spotlight, delivering a powerful performance around the song’s central question: “Who wants to burn in Heaven if you can rule forever down in Hell?”

According to Etro, the song also serves as a spiritual successor to one of the band’s best-known tracks, “I Am The Tyrant.”

“‘Who Wants To Burn In Heaven’ is the natural follow-up to ‘I Am The Tyrant’, one of our most popular and beloved songs, with its driving martial pace and the singalong emotional chorus.”

Beyond its darker imagery, the song carries a message about individuality, freedom and refusing conformity. Etro describes it as a celebration of outsiders—the misunderstood, unconventional and imperfect—rather than seeking acceptance from those demanding everyone fit the same ideal.

“Better to stand as a king among outsiders […] than to beg for a place among those who worship conformity and call it perfection. Their Heaven may look flawless from the outside, but it will punish and make you burn if you try to shine with your own light.”

With “Who Wants to Burn in Heaven,” Frozen Crown set the tone for a darker narrative direction on The Legend of the Six Kings, while retaining the soaring melodies and commanding heavy metal energy at the heart of their sound.
