UK death/groove metal newcomers VEIL PIERCER are preparing to release their debut EP, This Will Not Be Painless…, on October 6, 2026 via Prog On! Recordings.

Formed only in June 2025, the band entered the studio just seven months later, recording the five-track release with Joe Clayton at No Studio in Manchester.

Musically, This Will Not Be Painless… leans into the slower and more punishing side of extreme metal, built around crushing grooves, slamming heaviness and direct impact. The band features musicians connected to Lifeswallower, Enochian Theory and Cult of the Skull.

The EP will be available digitally as well as on vinyl and CD.
