Symphonic metal giants KAMELOT have released “Godlike Alchemy,” the second single from their upcoming album Dark Asylum, due out August 28 via Napalm Records.

Following the acclaimed “Ashen World,” which was selected as one of Metal Hammer‘s tracks of the week, the new single delivers soaring orchestral arrangements, thunderous riffs, and an anthemic chorus. Frontman Tommy Karevikonce again takes centre stage with a powerful vocal performance, while guitarist Thomas Youngblood injects the track with soaring melodies and crushing breakdowns.

Speaking about the song, Karevik said:

“‘Godlike Alchemy’ encapsulates the overarching theme of Dark Asylum. What if you don’t need to look outside yourself to find peace and happiness? What if you already possess the power to heal and create the reality you want to see? What if we are all magical, powerful beings with unlimited potential? It’s a mind-boggling thought.”

With its blend of cinematic grandeur, infectious hooks, and philosophical themes, “Godlike Alchemy” offers another compelling glimpse into what promises to be one of KAMELOT’s most ambitious releases to date.
