Tokyo melodic metal band Hagane are taking another major step beyond Japan, signing a worldwide physical deal with Napalm Records, excluding their home country. The partnership will bring their upcoming album “Through the Night”to international audiences on CD and vinyl on January 15, 2027.
Formed in 2018, Hagane have built their sound around soaring melodies, powerful vocals, rapid guitar work and technical musicianship, blending melodic power metal with a distinctly Japanese identity. After establishing themselves at home, the band made a strong European impression this summer with an appearance at Germany’s Rockharz Festival.
That performance also caught the attention of Napalm Records. Senior A&R Sebastian Münch described Hagane as “definitely a band to watch” for melodic power metal fans, while highlighting their Rockharz appearance as a decisive moment.
“Through this partnership, the new album, ‘Through the Night’, will be released globally on both CD and vinyl,” Hagane comment. “Please stay tuned for Hagane’s future activities on the global stage.”
“Through the Night” promises to showcase the combination of epic melodies, technical precision and high-energy songwriting that has driven Hagane’s rise so far. With their European debut already behind them and international distribution now expanding, the band’s next chapter is becoming increasingly global.
