Italian modern metal outfit Secret Rule have released “Lost in Paradise” alongside an official music video. The track marks the band’s final release of the year and is taken from their tenth studio album, X, out since October.
Shifting away from confrontation toward introspection, “Lost in Paradise” unfolds as a melancholic modern metal ballad, reflecting on loss, emotional distance, and the quiet strength needed to face what cannot be reclaimed. Rather than sinking into regret, the song channels absence into awareness and resolve, building gradually toward an understated but powerful emotional peak.
Musically, the track blends controlled heaviness with layered arrangements and features a triple-vocal performance by Angela Di Vincenzo, Andy Menario, and guest vocalist Marco Pastorino, whose presence adds depth without breaking the song’s intimate core.
Produced entirely by Menario, “Lost in Paradise” stands as one of the most reflective moments on X, closing 2025 on a quiet but resonant note — proof that Secret Rule’s evolution is as much about nuance as it is about power.
