Helsinki-based extreme metal outfit Kneel Before The Death have returned with their crushing new single, “Red Sun Dawn”. The track continues the rollout of the band’s upcoming second album, following the release of “The Weight Of Truth” earlier this year, while showcasing a heavier and more direct side of their sound.

Drawing inspiration from the roots of deathcore, “Red Sun Dawn” combines old-school aggression with modern production and the band’s own distinctive approach to songwriting.

“Red Sun Dawn draws heavily from early deathcore influences,” the band explains. “We wanted to capture that same old-school energy and bring it into the present day with a classic death metal riff and a breakdown overflowing with pure brutality. At the same time, we didn’t want to simply pay tribute to the legends. We added elements that challenge the listener and highlight Kneel Before The Death’s unique sound.”

The release arrives as the band prepares for one of the biggest milestones in its career so far. After spending much of the year on the road and sharing stages with Austrian deathcore act Spire of Lazarus, Kneel Before The Death is set to make its festival debut at three of Finland’s most respected metal events this summer.

“We’re especially excited about the upcoming summer because we’ll be making our festival debut at three legendary metal festivals,” the band says. “These shows are going to be an incredible experience. We’re also looking forward to playing the new single live for the first time and seeing how festival audiences react to both the song and the band.”

Known for blending deathcore, death metal and modern extreme metal influences into a relentless live experience, Kneel Before The Death has steadily built momentum within Finland’s underground metal scene. With “Red Sun Dawn”, the band continues to refine its sound while paying homage to the genre’s foundations.
