Barcelona atmospheric black metal band Perennial Isolation have unveiled “Crimson Iconoclasm,” the first single from their upcoming fifth studio album, The Vermilion Farewell, set for release this fall.

The new track marks the beginning of the band’s next chapter, blending haunting atmospheric passages, melodic guitar work, and the aggressive black metal elements that have defined Perennial Isolation’s sound since their formation in 2012. “Crimson Iconoclasm” also features guest vocals from P.G. of Groza, alongside narration by Jan Insomnic.

Over the past decade, Perennial Isolation have built a strong reputation within the atmospheric black metal scene with albums including Conviction of Voidness (2014), Astral Dream (2015), Epiphanies of the Orphaned Light (2016), and Portraits (2021). The band has also toured extensively across Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as Harakiri for the Sky, Enisum, Nocturnal Depression, Glorior Belli, and Kampfar.
