Symphonic metal outfit Visions of Atlantis have joined forces with German medieval metal veterans Saltatio Mortis for their new collaborative single, “Reckless Sailor (Black Flag Rises),” released alongside an official music video.

Created in collaboration with Ubisoft Germany, the track celebrates the launch of Assassin’s Creed™ Black Flag Resynced by reimagining the classic sea shanty “Drunken Sailor”. Combining Visions of Atlantis’ cinematic symphonic metal style with Saltatio Mortis’ folk-inspired energy, the song transforms the timeless tune into a powerful anthem of freedom, courage, and adventure on the high seas.

Featuring the distinctive vocals of Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli, “Reckless Sailor (Black Flag Rises)” blends soaring melodies, driving guitars, and maritime influences into an epic tribute to one of gaming’s most beloved pirate adventures.
