Dutch/Slovak deathcore powerhouse Distant have announced their new full-length album, Into Despair, set for release on November 6, 2026, via Century Media Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have unveiled the album’s first single, “All Will Be (N)One,” featuring Ricky Myers of death metal legends Suffocation.
Blending crushing breakdowns with haunting melodies and cinematic atmosphere, the new track explores humanity’s fear of death and the inevitable passage of time. Myers’ guest appearance adds another layer of brutality, reinforcing the song’s bleak message that nothing escapes its inevitable end.

Unlike previous releases built around fictional concepts, Into Despair takes a far more personal approach. According to the band, the album draws directly from real-life experiences of grief, hardship, loss, and the resilience needed to overcome them.
Speaking about the record, Distant said:
“Into Despair is the most honest music we’ve ever written. Every song comes from something we’ve lived through. Instead of hiding behind stories or concepts, we wanted to write about real emotions and real experiences. This album became a way for us to process grief and pain, but also a reminder that these are things everyone carries in one form or another.“
