Georgia-based gothic alternative metal outfit The End of Melancholy return with their deeply personal new single “Halo,” set for release on August 15 across all major streaming platforms.

Blending haunting vocals, cinematic atmosphere, and modern metal heaviness, “Halo” represents a significant chapter for the band following their relocation from Russia. It is only their second release since the move and offers another glimpse into their forthcoming full-length album.

“‘Halo’ is the band’s most significant release since being forced to leave Russia. It is only our second release since relocating and marks another important step toward our new full-length album,” the band explains.

Created over the course of approximately a year, the track was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Andrew Petroff, while Olly Lex handled the lyrics and vocals. The release is accompanied by a full-scale music video filmed in Georgia.

Having previously toured extensively across Europe and shared stages with acts including Motionless in White, Theatres des Vampires, and Hanzel und Gretyl, The End of Melancholy are now operating independently as they prepare their next album.
