Australian melodic folk metal outfit VALHALORE have returned to one of the most significant songs in their journey, unveiling a completely reimagined version of “Horizon.”

Originally released as the band’s first new music since 2019, “Horizon” became the beginning of a new era—eventually leading to Beyond The Stars, a record deal with Reigning Phoenix Music / ROAR, extensive touring, and VALHALORE’s growing presence on the international metal scene.

Now, “Horizon – Acoustic” strips away the towering riffs, orchestration, and thunderous drums of the original in favour of warm acoustic instrumentation and an intimate, almost dreamlike atmosphere. Rather than simply unplugging the song, the band have rebuilt it around its emotional core.

“It’s a song about a hopeful future, the beauty found in life’s simplest moments, and appreciating what we have before it fades,” the band explains. “Reimagining this track in a way that lets its beauty breathe, while allowing the lyrics to shine—almost like a lullaby—felt like a natural step.”
