Finnish deathcore outfit Enemies Everywhere recently unleashed their long-awaited self-titled debut album, marking a major new chapter for one of the rising names in Finland’s extreme metal scene.

Formed in 2022, the four-piece first introduced their relentless take on modern deathcore with the Endless Discord EP. Following the arrival of vocalist Sasu Mikkola last year, the band focused on sharpening their identity and developing a heavier, more distinctive sound—one that now takes full form across their nine-track debut.

“The release of the album is an important milestone for us, as we spent a long time refining the songs and developing our own sound for the record. It’s an honor for us to be part of the Finnish extreme metal scene, which is alive and thriving,” the band comments.

Alongside previously released singles “Undead Masquerade,” “Atonement” and “My Vengeance,” the album introduces six new tracks. At its centre stands the crushing title track, “Enemies Everywhere,” which the band describes as the clearest representation of what they are all about.

Its message is equally uncompromising: no matter what path you choose, pleasing everyone is impossible.

“There will always be someone with something negative to say. There are always enemies everywhere. As cliché as it may sound, you have to follow your own path and make decisions based on what feels right to you.”
