Italian metalcore newcomers Hopsydian are expanding the dark, ritualistic world of their debut EP “A Graceful Sin”, announcing its physical release on October 9 via Arising Empire, alongside a new music video for “Heavenly.”
Originally released digitally earlier this year, “A Graceful Sin” has already surpassed one million streams, introducing the Milan-based band to a growing international audience. The five-track EP will now be available on gold vinyl and CD, accompanied by exclusive merchandise.

Blending modern metalcore with cinematic atmosphere and an almost ceremonial intensity, Hopsydian have created a musical world built around contradictions. Across “A Graceful Sin”, themes of devotion, obsession, love and temptation unfold against a backdrop of crushing heaviness and haunting melodies.
At the heart of the record lies a constant struggle between holiness and corruption, beauty and brutality, light and darkness. Even the gold dominating the EP’s visual identity carries symbolic weight, representing something divine while suggesting that something far more sinister exists beneath the surface.
The newly released video for “Heavenly” offers another entry into this unsettling world, reinforcing the theatrical and atmospheric identity that has become central to the band’s music.
With their debut already gaining momentum, Hopsydian are establishing themselves as a promising new presence in European metalcore—one where spirituality, darkness and modern heaviness collide.
