French progressive heavy metal outfit CRYSTAL THRONE are preparing to release their new concept album Chantry Of Sacrifice on October 2, 2026.

Set in the year 5150, the album tells the story of Hÿldr, a war veteran and scientific project leader who awakens to discover that Earth has mysteriously disappeared—leaving her as the last human in the universe. Faced with one final mission, she must travel back through time to uncover what caused humanity’s disappearance and attempt to change history.

Musically, Chantry Of Sacrifice combines classic heavy metal riffs and soaring melodies with progressive arrangements and cinematic atmosphere, using each song as another chapter in its larger science-fiction narrative.

Rather than simply placing individual songs around a shared theme, CRYSTAL THRONE have designed the record as a complete journey—one that crosses time, space and the possible end of humanity.
