Italian melodic and symphonic metal outfit TEMPERANCE have unveiled their new single “The Tower: Lean Into Fear,” taken from upcoming album Arcani, arriving October 16 via Napalm Records.

Continuing the album’s Tarot-inspired concept, the track draws its meaning from The Tower—one of the deck’s most feared cards. Musically, heavy rocking riffs meet the commanding vocals of Kristin Starkey, revealing another side of TEMPERANCE’s evolving sound.

“Sometimes the right path is the most painful one, and sometimes we need to lean into that fear to become the best versions of ourselves,” Starkey explains. “Once one realizes that these pains, scars, and trials are necessary for learning life’s lessons, we flourish.”

Rather than treating The Tower purely as a symbol of destruction, the song explores the idea that fear, pain and difficult experiences can become catalysts for personal growth.

Following the release of Arcani, TEMPERANCE will take the new material across Europe alongside KAMELOT and EXIT EDEN, with the tour beginning November 1 in London.
