Austria/Québec black metal trio DÉTRESSE have unleashed their new single “Les Nuits Jaunes,” the second glimpse into upcoming album Misères, arriving October 9 via Vendetta Records.

Described by the band as their harshest track to date, “Les Nuits Jaunes” features guest vocals from Vestal of Merrimack, whose frantic delivery adds another layer of intensity to the track’s relentless black metal assault.

“Vestal also wrote the lyrics, taking the listener deep into the darkest corners of misery, where no light can pierce through,” DÉTRESSE explain.

Born from a collaboration spanning Austria and Québec, DÉTRESSE continue to push their sound towards increasingly bleak territory. Accompanied by a new visualizer, “Les Nuits Jaunes” offers another uncompromising glimpse into the darkness surrounding Misères.
